Research associate, Outcomes Team, Quality in Social Services Group, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB), Israel’s leading center for applied social research.

Ben has been working at the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute since 2022. His primary research areas include services and interventions for children and youth, out-of-home placement, and resilience services designed to help individuals and communities cope with security-related threats.

In addition, Ben has extensive experience in developing logic models and theories of change, and in promoting results-oriented thinking and its underlying principles within the day-to-day work of government ministries. Alongside his core work in analyzing and improving service systems for intervention planning and outcomes measurement, Ben also specializes in non-formal education, alternative educational approaches, and the philosophy of education.

Ben holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Education from the University of Haifa.
